Restaurant Kuurna is a quaint
bistro in the quiet neighbourhood
of Kruununhaka.

Paving the way for the Helsinki bistro-boom since 2005, we are dedicated
to our creations and we value high quality ingredients.

The food we serve is the type of food we love to eat: pure, interesting
and always enjoyable. The wine list consists of both classic and natural
wines, sourced from ecologically and socially sustainable producers.

Kuurna is like a second home for us and we warmly welcome everyone
to come and spend an evening and enjoy your time with us.

The wines we serve by the glass are always the recommended pairings for
our dishes. Our cellar list focuses on high quality handcrafted gems.
Drink pairings for a 3-course menu is 43 euros.

KUURNA X HELSINKI DESIGN WEEK

10.-13.9.2025

Suomitalo 5th floor - Lönnrotinkatu 5

To mark our 20th anniversary, we are setting the table for a special dinner at Helsinki Design Week’s main venue - the unique surroundings of the Suomitalo. 

The menu will feature variations of Kuurna’s dishes from the past two decades. The dinner consists of fish and vegetarian courses, using Finnish fish and organic fruits and vegetables from our very own Kuurnan Kasvispuoti.

Inquiries about same day reservations, please call us +358 44 755 4555 between 12:00 and 15:00.

Due to the special nature of the menu, we kindly ask you to confirm your reservation with a prepayment (€25 per person), which will be deducted from your final bill at the end of the evening.

Four course menu á 85 euros

Wine pairing á 55 euros

Non-alcoholic drink pairing á 45 euros

We are happy to accommodate allergies and special dietary needs, provided we are informed at least 48 hours in advance.

Please note that most of the tables are long, communal tables where multiple parties dine simultaneously.

The dinner seating time is three hours from the time of your reservation. The dinner seating times are Wed-Fri 17:00 & 20:30, Saturday 16:00. We also opened an extra seating for Wednesday and Thursday at 19:00!

HDW WINEBAR

Guests are invited to the pop-up wine bar which will be located on the 4th floor of the Suomitalo. No reservations.

A selection of light bites will be chosen from Klaava Wine bar’s menu.

FROM WHERE IT ALL STARTED?

Since our first classes at culinary school, our ambition has been to become restauranteurs and to elevate the standard of dining experiences in Helsinki.

With a sprinkle of luck and as a result of a lot of hard work, Kuurna’s
ownership has now been passed on to us. We have the pleasure
and honour of continuing the legacy of our favourite restaurant.
